- What is the SPLM National Convention?
The SPLM National Convention is the highest national organ of the SPLM as established in accordance with the resolution(s) of the First National Convention, 1994. - What are the other national organs in SPLM organizational structure?
The SPLM National organs are as follows: 1. The National Convention 2. The (interim) National Council: Oversees the performance of the Bureau and management of the organs to ensure their proper functioning and effective implementation of policies. 3. The (interim) Political Bureau: Responsible for the overall direction of the activities of the SPLM (draw policy platforms, define political guidance, etc) 4. The (interim) General Secretariat.
- How many delegates?
The second Convention of the SPLM has over 1500 delegates coming from all 25 states of the Sudan plus the Diaspora.
- Where will the National Convention be held?
The convention will be held in Juba, the capital of Southern Sudan. The exact venue is Nyokuron Cultural Center (See Pics)
